FAQ's

How do you dispose of Covid tests properly?
To properly dispose of Covid tests you will need a certified biomedical waste disposal company. Once the Covid tests have been treated and disposed of in compliance with local regulations, the biomedical waste company will provide you with a COD (certificate of destruction) as documentation of compliant disposal.
Can you throw Covid tests away as regular waste?
Covid tests cannot be thrown away as municipal solid waste, commonly known as trash or garbage. All approved Covid tests for use in Canada require autoclave disposal through a certified biomedical waste disposal company.
